For Maldonal General Trading, 2026 year marked a significant milestone: our debut exhibition at the Middle East’s premier coffee event. While we have always been confident in the quality of our Sidama harvest, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s best coffee companies was a validation of our vision to "pave the way" for Ethiopian exports.
The experience was invaluable. It wasn't just about showcasing our speciality beans from Ethiopian farms; it was about understanding where the industry is heading.
We had the privilege of networking with seasoned roasters, international green buyers, and equipment innovators. The feedback we received on our Washed and Natural Sidama lots was overwhelmingly positive, with many experts highlighting the distinct floral clarity of our Bensa harvest.
Dubai was just the beginning. We are returning to Ethiopia with signed contracts, new friendships, and a renewed passion for our craft. To everyone who networked with us: thank you for welcoming us into the global coffee family.
